GENERAL BILL by Lerner ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Heyman ; Green ; Detert

Security of Medical Facilities; redefines term "emergency medical care provider" for purposes of enhanced penalties for assaults on such persons; provides first-degree felony penalties for theft of certain medical equipment; amends Criminal Punishment Code to include offense of theft of medical equipment on offense severity ranking chart. Amends 784.07, 812.014, 921.0022.
