GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Sullivan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cowin

Kimberlin West Act of 2002; requires hospitals, birthing facilities, or home birth providers to give to new parents informational brochures concerning dangers of shaking babies & young children; requires Health Dept. to prepare brochures; prescribes contents of brochures; provides applicability of failure to cooperate with law enforcement re investigation of or privileged communications re child or adult abuse, etc. Amends 39.204, 415.1045.
