CS/SB 2140: Tobacco Settlement Protection Act
GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Mitchell
Tobacco Settlement Protection Act; creates said act; prohibits permittee or licensee who holds permit under certain provision, from shipping or possessing for sale in or out of this state cigarettes not included on list approved by Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco of DBPR; provides requirements under which manufacturer's brands may be included on list; requires that div. notify manufacturer & Attorney General of its determination of certification, etc. Creates 210.81-.90.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
