CS/HB 1247: School Safety Zone/Stopped Vehicle

GENERAL BILL by Cantens ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Brandenburg ; Bullard ; Slosberg

School Safety Zone/Stopped Vehicle; prohibits stopping vehicle in school zone to load or unload passengers when school zone speed limit is in force; provides for parental notification system to be developed by HSMV; requires form to be completed by traffic enforcement officer upon issuing traffic citation or written warning to person under 18 years of age; requires parent, guardian, or other responsible adult signing driver license application of minor to provide, etc. Amends FS.
