SB 1272: EMTs and Paramedics/Emergency Services/Hospitals [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Fasano

EMTs and Paramedics/Emergency Services/Hospitals [SPCC]; Authorizes an emergency medical technician (EMT) or paramedic to perform basic life support services and authorizes a paramedic to perform advanced life support services in the emergency department of a licensed hospital, regardless of whether a medical emergency exists. Requires a written agreement between the EMT's or paramedic's medical director and the hospital where such services are performed, etc.
