GENERAL BILL by Budget Subcommittee on Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Health Regulation ; Jones

Chiropractic Medicine; Revises the requirements for obtaining a chiropractic medicine faculty certificate. Requires that a chiropractic physician preserve the identity of funds or property of a patient in excess of a specified amount. Requires a registered chiropractic assistant to register with the board effective April 1, 2012, and pay a fee for registration. Authorizes the spouse or adult children of a deceased chiropractic physician to hold, operate, pledge, sell, mortgage, assign, transfer, own, or control the deceased chiropractic physician's ownership interests, etc.
