CS/SB 1498: State Technology

GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Accountability ; Ring

State Technology; Abolishing the Agency for Enterprise Information Technology; transferring the personnel, functions, and funds of the Agency for Enterprise Information Technology to the Agency for State Technology; transferring specified personnel, functions, and funds relating to technology programs from the Department of Management Services to the Agency for State Technology; creating the Agency for State Technology; revising duties of primary data centers; establishing the Fletcher Shared Resource Center within the Department of Financial Services to provide enterprise information technology services; directing the agency to develop a plan for statewide voice-over-Internet protocol services, etc.

Effective Date: except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2012
