TRUST FUND/GENERAL BILL by Hays
Patient Compensation Trust Fund/State Treasury; Creating the Patient Compensation Trust Fund within the State Treasury; providing for the purpose and sources of funds of the trust fund; providing for future review and termination or re-creation of the trust fund, etc.
Effective Date: on the same date that SB 1588 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is enacted in the same legislative session, or extension thereof, and becomes law. Three-fifths vote of the membership of each house of the Legislature required.
