CS/SB 1388: Vessels

GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Committee on Agriculture, Environment, and General Government ; Trumbull

Vessels; Revising the definition of the term “livery vessel”; revising and providing penalties for vessel collisions, accidents, and casualties; requiring the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to issue, at no cost, a permit for the long-term anchoring of a vessel which includes specified information; prohibiting an officer from performing a vessel stop or boarding a vessel without probable cause; authorizing certain entities and persons to relocate, remove, or cause to be relocated or removed certain vessels, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2025
