1998 Florida Statutes

318.12  Purpose.--It is the legislative intent in the adoption of this chapter to decriminalize certain violations of chapter 316, the Florida Uniform Traffic Control Law; chapter 320, Motor Vehicle Licenses; chapter 322, Drivers' Licenses; 1chapter 339, Florida Transportation Code, Sixth Part; 2chapter 239, Universities; Scholarships, etc.; and 3chapter 340, Turnpike Projects, thereby facilitating the implementation of a more uniform and expeditious system for the disposition of traffic infractions.
