Section 101.33, Florida Statutes 2002

1101.33  Number of electors for each machine.--In any county in which voting machines are used, the board of county commissioners shall provide at least one voting machine for each 400 registered electors in the county, except that in any county in which 25 percent or more of the registered electors are 60 years of age or older, the board of county commissioners shall provide at least one machine for each 350 registered electors. The supervisor of elections shall determine the actual number of machines to be used in each precinct at each election. In determining the number of machines to be used in each precinct, the supervisor shall take into consideration the traditional voting patterns of such precinct and shall furnish the number of machines necessary to handle efficiently the number of anticipated voters in the precinct.
