Joint Legislative Sunset Committee; powers; assistance of state agencies.—
The Joint Legislative Sunset Committee may take under investigation any matter within the scope of a sunset review either completed or then being conducted by the joint committee, and, in connection with such investigation, may exercise the powers of subpoena by law and any other powers vested in a standing committee of the Legislature pursuant to s. 11.143.
The joint committee may access or request information and request assistance of state agencies and officers. When assistance is requested, a state agency or officer shall assist the joint committee.
