HB 349: Juvenile Justice

GENERAL BILL by Law Enforcement & Crime Prevention ; Futch ; Bloom ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Heyman ; Byrd ; Wiles ; Gottlieb ; Harrington ; Detert ; Crist ; Bullard ; Lynn

Juvenile Justice; provides that possession of firearm by minor for second or subsequent offense constitutes felony of third degree instead of misdemeanor of first degree; provides for performance of community service in manner involving hospital emergency room or other medical environment dealing on regular basis with trauma patients & gunshot wounds; prohibits possession or discharging firearms at school-sponsored event, etc. Amends FS.
